No solo las matemáticas disfrutan del privilegio de las más insólitas combinaciones; las artes -todas- aprovechan esta multiplicidad de espacios, ecuaciones, sonidos o incluso la planificación de ciudades enteras, calendarios, pinturas u obras musicales. 
Bach -entre otros- acude a combinaciones que rebasan las relaciones interválicas hasta llegar a las formas integrales. La serie de Fibonacci aparece en la Misa en Si menor, mientras que en el Arte de la Fuga se expande al tratamiento contrapuntístico. En las Variaciones Goldberg y en la Ofrenda Musical la estructura toma formas de una solidez e inventiva alucinantes.

Bach  -among others- are usings combinations and intervalic relations besides periodical structures based on Fibonacci (the Golden section). Bach Mass in B minor, The Art of Fugue or The musical Offering. Almost the entire work of Bartok is build on the Golden section (intervals, periods, and the macro-structure in itself).
